skin care in winter |
1. Moisturize,
moisturize, and moisturize
Apply moisturizer
over your skin for a natural healthy glow. By applying a moisturizer and having
skin nourished, will give skin their very own moisturizer for months to come.it
is also a good idea to use a humidifier for room to give additional moisture to
the skin. Apply unsweetened coconut oil on the face to help calm your skin.
Coconut oil extracts natural oils that will help moisturize your skin. Apply
moisturizer when skin is wet after bathing and washing to lock moisture in the
skin. Don’t forget your hands and feet.
2. Exfoliate
now and then
Exfoliating will remove dead skin cells and reduce clogged
pores. It gives your skin a nice glow and prevents dryness. I recommend using a
gentle scrubber that is made to come upon a towel and blend gently to keep skin
smooth. Exfoliating and lightly rubbing the skin will give you a stunning
appearance.
3. Modify
skincare routine
Determine what products or maintenance regimen you need for
winter, specifically for your skin type. There are some creams and supplements
that will be best to use in cold and wet winters, whereas others will get
dryness in your skin. Choose creams and oils that match your skin wisely.

4. Wear easy and non-irritant clothes
Sometimes additional cloth layers could be uncomfortable to skin and too tight or rough fabric can harm skin so use nice, warm, and non-irritant clothing
5. Don’t
forget your sun screen
The sun can be harsh on your skin whether it is winter or
summer. Apply sunscreen even in winters to protect your skin from the damaging
effects of Ultraviolet radiation.
6. Maintain
a healthy diet and good water intake
Due to winter water intake being considerably reduced, but it is
very important to drink a good amount of water to be fully hydrated. Indulge in
warm winter teas and soups for extra beneficial effects. Maintain a good and balanced
diet with add up of nuts and dietary oils that are good for skin too for
example flaxseed oil and coconut oil etc.
7. Avoid
heavy makeovers
Avoid applying heavy makeup during winter. Blushing is not a
good idea as it could expose your skin to clogged pores, reduce collagen and
diminish collagen density.
8. Avoid
long and hot showers
Who would not love long and hot showers in the winter but they
must be kept short and sweet, otherwise body moisture will be ripped out.
